Libra Horoscope 2020
(September 23 - October 23)

Libra is the sign of justice, order and balance. All the careful planning of Virgo is coming to fruition and future success is being carefully monitored.

This turn into Libra isn’t about evening the scales or tipping the odds in your favor. It’s about establishing order. Harmony is important to this diplomatic sign and a world of unequal circumstances won’t sit right with them. The only way to make this time work for you is to find balance and keep it.

Think of Avatar Kyoshi as you go through this season, “Only Justice will bring peace,” or a much more relevant battle cry, “No Justice! No Peace!”

Virgo was definitely a rough patch for you, for more than one reason, but it doesn’t look like Libra will bring the same troubles. That doesn’t mean anything about this season will be easy. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to work hard.

Just because you’ll be working hard doesn’t mean others are too. Imagine all those D.A.R.E videos from school and treat any distracting (but well-meaning) family and friends like marauding drug dealers and say “No.”

That doesn’t mean don’t have fun. But under this sign of order, it might be a wake-up call for some spiritual or physical spring cleaning. All this work might open up your perspective on things, whether it’s bad habits or bad friends. There are things in your life that have to go to make the future that much brighter.

So things have been great for you and you’re finally getting things done. Whether it’s an ill-advised trip to Italy or just getting dressed for a zoom meeting, life is definitely looking up. Keep at it!

Stopping means inviting trouble back into your life. But just because you shouldn’t stop, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t slow down. Yes, there’s a difference.

Your cards say it’s time to put your affairs in order. Sounds scary, right? There’s trouble coming in your direction in the shape of mostly well-intentioned friends and family. Keep your balance through this difficult time and you will survive the drama headed your way. And if now and in the future, solving problems in the conventional way don’t work, it may be time to look to your gut.

That might go against your level-headed and logical nature, but it might behoove you to solve any problems that come your way with more than your brain. Let your intuition guide you and the next season should look up.

Knight of Pentacles | Two of Swords | Knight of Cups

Your projects might’ve kicked into full gear, but you aren’t quite feeling the excitement of getting things done. In fact, you might be feeling exactly the opposite. It’s not surprising.

This may be a time of real hardship for you. Two not-so-great options have been making life difficult for you. But no matter how much you don’t want to choose, you’ll have to make a decision.

If you can’t make up your mind, you’ll be unbalanced. Thanos isn’t high on the list of characters you want to imitate. But aim to be like him, not genocidal and definitely less obsessed with order. Without it, the future is sure to be a little less chaotic and an unpleasant mess.

Three of Pentacles | King of Cups | Seven of Pentacles

Teamwork makes the dream work. You of all the signs know that keeping friends close to your heart is a good thing. Sure they’ll help you move apartments but they’ll also help you be better.

They’ll help balance you out and make the good and bad you come across in everyday life seem manageable. You’re going to have a grand old time, especially since you have people to make memories with.

But don’t sit there fat and happy. Opportunity is out there and the only way to get your way is to make it.

Ten of Wands | Eight of Swords | King of Cups

Life might feel kind of sucky right about now. But that’s a good thing. It’s a sign that all the success of the past is actually tangible. It’s responsibility and it’s the sign that everything you worked for has to be maintained so you can keep thriving.

Work has a way of backing you into a corner and overwhelming you.  The thing you can’t do is let yourself drown. Your job might not be what you thought it was. Your responsibilities might feel like too much.

But you’re the sign that thrives when given a challenge and makes do with what they have. The key to making things work is to find balance. Once you’ve got both feet on the ground, you can do anything!

Four of Pentacles | Seven of Pentacles | Knight of Cups

This isn’t really the time for playing it fast and loose, but it might feel like life isn’t playing by any recognizable rules. Your walls are up and that’s totally understandable. But if you want to get anything done, they’re going to have to come down. Just a little bit.

Your time is going to be plagued by unfinished projects and a lack of will and effort to see things through if you don’t. Happiness doesn’t come from one place. It’s all the different facets of your life, no matter how big or small, that come together to make life great.

So if you can’t pull everything together for your own sake and find balance, you might be in for some unpleasant surprises later on.

Nine of Wands | The Empress | Ace of Wands

Resilience is the name of the game. Who can stick out longer, you or the universe? Or whatever else might be causing your problems.

Success has been elusive for your sign, but it’s nothing that elbow grease and determination can’t fix. Don’t give up if it feels like you aren’t getting anywhere fast. Your goals are sometimes at the end of what feels like a long road to nowhere.

Sometimes you have to do something monotonous and boring to get to the good part of life. Once you get past the impossible, there’s loads of opportunity. While that sounds like motivational bull-honkey, only you have the ability to get past your roadblocks. Once you do, there’s a wellspring of creativity and energy waiting for you.

Seven of Wands | Nine of Pentacles | Four of Cups

What is life but one big struggle? This might not feel like the best time of your life, but one plus is that you’re getting character development. You’re holding your ground, whether it’s against people coming after your job or an idea, and you’re not going to let anyone walk over you.

You may be doing a little too much though. Life isn’t all about fighting hard to keep what you earned. If you keep on fighting, working or just stressing out, you’ll wear yourself out. Try to find ways to relax, destress and balance yourself.

You might just find that taking your mind off things lets you see your problems in a totally different light. Inspiration hits a little different when you aren’t hyper focused on your problems. Take time to sit, think and deliberate on your next steps.

The Tower | Four of Swords | Eight of Wands

Well, things are always just a little explosive when you’re around. Expect the unexpected because rapid change is on the horizon. This may be for the best, the perfect shove to get you where you need to be – or for the worst, which you may land on your behind. But in true Sagittarius fashion, you’re along for the ride!

Even though you’ll be caught up in a lot of drama and action, don’t forget to find time to breathe. It’s important to relax when there’s chaos and when there’s calm. Although you’ll be plenty busy, take time to smell the roses or drink some tea, or whatever else helps you calm down when life gets too rough.

But don’t let your breaks turn into seasons of rest. A full stop in your ventures could be a full stop on your life. Take breaks, find ways to make life fun and keep on trucking towards your goals.

Page of Swords | High Priestess | The Hermit

This should be a time of serious plans and commitment. Yet, it feels like you can’t stick with one idea or job for the long term. The answer to your problems might be closer than you think.

It might be time to look inside yourself. Focusing on your intuition or just finding yourself a guide to navigate this crazy world might help you find the structure and staying power you need to succeed.

To get to that point you may need to take a step back from the world. Do a technology detox. Or just turn your phone off for a little bit every day. Find ways to reestablish order into all aspects of your life and you’ll see smooth sailing from here on out.

Eight of Cups | The Hanged Man | Queen of Pentacles

It’s hard to say goodbye, but it’s time to let go. Bad habits, bad friends and bad times have to go in order to make space for all the new experiences that are sure to come your way. But if you keep holding on to people, things or places that don’t push you to do better, you’ll be more than stuck in a rut. You’ll become a rut.

Sacrifice may not be something that you’re used to. But it’s time to cut negative people and things out of your life. You’ll probably feel like you’re floating in the breeze after this emotional big chop. No one just gets back on their feet after a loss, no matter how good it might be. Take time to readjust to life without your extra weight so you can walk with your head higher.

Don’t let your newfound lack of negativity get to your head. Just because you cut out the negativity in your life doesn’t mean it’s still lingering. Take a look at yourself and find ways to improve beyond just removing some negative aspects.

Four of Swords | Ten of Swords | The World

After what must feel like a long time, it’s like you’re coming out of a fog. The world has been at home in a strange fever dream work-at-home situation. After a tough time and a nice break, you’re ready to return to the workplace, which may or may not be your living room.

And because of that, you’ve narrowly avoided disaster! A car crash, a misplaced presentation or something as mundane as a broken cup has been avoided. Now that you’re rested, you’re ready to meet the world. This reset is definitely the start of something new and fantastic for you!

Don’t let the ball drop. Your balance hasn’t been entirely restored, so getting lazy or going back to those same old burnout habits won’t do you any good. Right now, you’ve got the extra energy to finish your projects, talk to your friends and pursue the things you love. Keep your head up, your energy in check and finish everything you set out to do!
