Lila's review: Riverstone Corner Bistro
If you’re looking for a charming, locally-owned restaurant in North Georgia, look no further than Riverstone Corner Bistro (known to locals as “RCB”). It’s a classic country-style stop with all the trimmings you would expect for a homespun experience.

Walking in, the space has a very homey vibe that doesn’t feel too antiquated. Decor-wise, they do a solid job of marrying tradition with modern.
Riverstone offers a lunch, dinner and drink menu, boasting a wide variety of delicious American cuisines in a cozy yet contemporary atmosphere. There is a daily deal on drinks that’s posted on the white board by the bar, starting as low as $5.
They have both indoor and outdoor (socially distanced) seating with string lights adorning the patio. I chose to sit outside, and even though it was chilly, the patio heaters made the experience toasty and enjoyable.
Upon being seated, my mother and I were promptly and warmly greeted by our server, Emily. PSA: As stated, all of their drinks come in mason jars, which are equally adorable as they are functional.
I ordered the portobello wrap with a side of mac and cheese for a dose of carbs, and I was not disappointed!
The mac and cheese was creamy and gooey–essentially, everything it should’ve been. My mother had an RCB burger that contained a patty made with beef straight from a farm to our table. According to Emily, Riverstone Corner Bistro claims this item is one of their biggest hits with customers.
The portobello wrap was served with spicy chipotle sauce, which was a wonderful kick to the giant grilled portobello mushroom and red peppers, fresh lettuce and tomato, sidelined by crisp onion inside the flour tortilla.
Combined with the ambience, taste and price, I would recommend RCB to anyone who is a fan of classic American fare with a fun twist. It is definitely a quaint, romantic spot that can work for a date [in fact, I saw many couples eating together], a chill space to meet with your girls or even a family gathering!
RCB also has a Thanksgiving to-go menu for orders that’d serve between six to eight people during the middle of November.
Whatever the case, you will be missing out if you don’t give RCB a try.
