White supremacists attempt to radicalize the GOP under guise of democratic integrity during Atlanta rallies

Not only is it troubling that White supremacists are coming from outside our city to instigate division, but there was little mainstream media coverage of the events. Moreover, what little coverage the rallies did receive completely missed the mark.

Progress toward a more just and equitable society may be on the horizon. Since the killing of George Floyd by a white police officer in May, around the United States, millions of people have taken to the streets, statues have been felled, leaders have been fired and pressured to resign, and activists-turned-politicians have gained traction in prominent political races.

Black Experience At Woodward Academy​

When 20-year-old Shay Estelle transferred to Woodward Academy, her arrival continued a trend she was very familiar with. Her enrollment at the Atlanta private school became her fourth time being the “new kid” in school. She attended Whitefield Academy until sixth grade and spent seventh grade at Killian Hill Christian School. Grades eight to 10 were at Woodward. She studied abroad for 11th grade then returned to Woodward to graduate high school.
